Home-based (x2 roles – x1 South East England and x1 North West England)
£340 per day (+ mileage + expenses)
The Opportunity: We are currently looking for an experienced Sub-Agent/Site Engineer to supervise a range of civils works installing power and comms infrastructure for highways technology assets. You will come from a background dealing with sub-contractor crews working on infrastructure for things like motorway comms, street lighting, camera poles, trenching, duct laying, chamber installation, overhead gantry signage, technology cabinets, etc. We are looking to fill two roles, one in the South East of England and the other in the North West of England to lead the successful completion of works in the relevant regional area.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven background delivering civils works in the highways industry, ideally for roadside technology, street lighting or traffic signals
- Strong Site Supervision and Team Leadership skills
- Thorough understanding of Health and Safety Compliance and Risk Management
- Quality Assurance and Control
- Relevant qualifications such as IOSH/SMSTS, SSSTS, CSCS, etc.
- Current G39, HERS8, NRSWA, NHSS8 Qualification (Highly Desirable)
- Full drivers licence and access to a vehicle
