Job Description
Finance Manager (Controllership)\\n\\n * 12 month contract\\n\\n * Holborn, Central London (Hybrid-Working – WFH x2 days, office-based x3 days)\\n\\n * £425 to £450 per day (via Umbrella)\\n\\nThe Opportunity:\\n\\nThis role is involved in all areas of operational finance and requires multi-tasking and prioritising across a broad range of responsibilities and managing multiple stakeholders.\\n\\nThe role is based in Holborn and has responsibilities over our client’s x4 UK legal entities which are the UK trading, UK research, International regulatory and International headquarters entities.\\n\\nThis role reports to the Controllership Lead and is responsible for supporting delivery of Finance objectives including Accounting and Reporting (Internal and Statutory), Tax, Audit (Internal and External), Process Governance (Procure to Pay; Order to Cash) and Process Improvement, for the four legal entities.\\n\\nSkills and Experience:\\n\\n * BA or BSc degree in Business or Accounting, preferably with a professional accounting qualification (ACA or equivalent )\\n\\n * Minimum 5 years commercial financial experience across all areas of Finance in particular, Controllership, FSS, Tax and Treasury\\n\\n * Experience of UK taxation (particularly VAT / Corporate Tax) or general tax compliance is highly desired.\\n\\n * A good knowledge of SAP or equivalent ERP system and proficiency with Microsoft tools (Advanced Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint skills).\\n\\n * Background in supporting the preparation of statutory reporting an internal/external Audits\\n\\n * A background in a highly regulated industry is required (banking, pharmaceutical, etc.)\\n\\nTo learn more about this great new opportunity working as a Senior Finance Manager (Controllership), please call Edward Laing here at ISR Recruitment on (phone number removed)?
