Market Rates
The Opportunity:
Working with a team of Field Service Engineers and directly into a number of customers (schools, charities, hospitals and a variety of SMEs), to ensure a high level of IT support and network management. You will also be servicing customers and providing vendor management (negotiating SLAs and contractual terms).
Skills and Experience:
- Windows Server
- Active Directory
- Microsoft Exchange
- Basic knowledge of Linux and UNIX systems
- Avaya IP Office and VOP phone systems
- Hardware management and configuration
- Full UK driving licence
Candidates will have a solid background in managing complex IT systems, migrating existing IT systems to the cloud, including print management, cloud solutions (telephony and IT), network troubleshooting and AV Support, along with Windows Server management, Active Directory, Google Workspace and networking solutions like VLANs and firewalls.
Role and Responsibilities:
Within the role, you will respond to call-outs in a timely and professional manner, identifying and resolving technical faults and undertaking all technical modifications as they arise. You will provide advice and training to customers on all aspects of the machines' functions in order to ensure that customers are fully aware of and utilise the full capabilities of the installed devices.
You will be joining a client that has dedicated themselves to listening to their customer’s needs, observing how their businesses operate and providing them with solutions that increase efficiency and lower operational costs, as well as training their people how to use them effectively.
They have a dedicated team of skilled engineers that provide support both on-site and remotely, and you will be helping them to enhance this level of service in a number of new areas.
You must have a proactive and flexible approach to your work and be able to travel within your designated region (within the M25).
