ISQ Recruitment is pleased to be recruiting for aLogistics & Continuous Improvement Engineeron behalf of a well-established client in the logistics and manufacturing sector. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to enhance operational processes and drive cost-saving initiatives. Job Purpose: The Logistics & Continuous Improvement Engineer will focus on improving material flow, designing efficient layouts, and identifying opportunities for operational excellence. You will play a key role in driving continuous improvement strategies and ensuring seamless process implementation. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and optimise material flow, layouts, and processes across the plant.
- Drive efficiency and cost-saving initiatives, achieving measurable improvements year on year.
- Investigate issues, conduct root cause analyses, and implement corrective measures.
- Collaborate with project management, IT, and operations teams to deliver solutions.
- Monitor and report on key metrics to ensure alignment with operational goals.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in logistics, manufacturing, or similar environments.
- Strong analytical skills and familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint) and AutoCAD (desirable).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Degree in a related field is preferred but not essential.
