ISQ Recruitment is working with a well-established automotive retail business looking for an experienced Used Car Sales Manager to lead and develop a successful used car sales department.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused automotive sales professional who enjoys leading people, driving performance, and delivering a high standard of customer service. The successful candidate will manage a team of Sales Executives, support day-to-day sales activity, and help maximise used car profitability.

We are looking for someone with strong leadership qualities, a customer-focused approach, and proven experience within automotive sales management, transaction management, or business management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, motivate and support a team of Sales Executives
  • Drive used car sales performance and profitability
  • Monitor stock, sales process, customer experience and team activity
  • Coach and develop team members to improve results
  • Build strong customer relationships and encourage repeat business
  • Ensure sales activity is compliant with FCA standards and relevant consumer legislation
  • Support business growth through strong commercial awareness and performance management
Candidate Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Transaction Manager, Business Manager or similar within the automotive industry
  • Strong understanding of FCA standards, consumer legislation and trade practices
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and commercial results
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Financially astute with strong attention to detail
  • Confident, proactive and able to motivate a team
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
