ISQ Recruitment are partnered with a well‑equipped and expanding accident repair centre in Redhill who are seeking an experienced Panel Beater to join their skilled team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technician who takes pride in producing top‑tier repair work and wants to join a business that truly values quality and craftsmanship.

You will be welcomed into a modern workshop environment with great equipment, strong teamwork and ongoing investment in both staff and facilities.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Repairing and replacing vehicle panels using approved methods and repair techniques.
  • Stripping and refitting components to ensure correct panel fitment and alignment.
  • Identifying and reporting additional damage outside the initial scope.
  • Carrying out structural assessments and ensuring all vehicles meet post‑repair safety standards.
  • Performing filler work to a high-quality finish, ensuring no pinholes and achieving smooth P180 results.
  • Using a range of modern repair techniques including MIG brazing, spot welding, riveting and bonding.
  • Applying anti‑corrosion treatments, underseal, and primers where required.
  • Maintaining excellent workshop housekeeping and ensuring tools are kept in safe working order.
  • Completing repair-stage quality checks and signing off at each stage.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience working as a Panel Beater within a bodyshop or accident repair setting.
  • Confident handling high‑strength steels, Boron steels and structural repairs.
  • Strong understanding of modern repair methods and equipment.
  • Ability to follow technical guidance and repair instructions accurately.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Positive, team‑oriented attitude with the ability to work independently when required.

Qualifications Considered

Applicants are welcomed from a range of backgrounds, including:

  • Level 3 NVQ in Vehicle Body Repair / Panel Repair
  • Time‑served Panel Beaters with strong, proven experience
  • ATA / IMI Accreditation (desirable but not essential)

All experienced Panel Beaters will be considered — formal qualifications are beneficial but not mandatory if experience is strong.

Hours

45 hours per week. Weekday hours vary by site. Saturday is a full working day when required (site‑dependant).
