Multi-Skilled Operative Rotating Shift Cover

ISQ Recruitment is supporting a manufacturing business in Norfolk seeking a reliable, adaptable Multi-Skilled Operative to join their rotating cover team. This role provides hands-on support across production areas, covering for holidays, absence, and training needs including regular Saturday working.
The Role:
- Covering key roles across production (operations, packing, intake, etc.)
- Supporting factory operations during weekends, holidays and absences
- Carrying out tasks such as product loading, batch records, weighbridge, forklift work
- Monitoring production activity and adjusting schedules as needed
- Maintaining a clean, safe and compliant working environment
- Supporting equipment cleaning, audits, and stock checks
- Assisting with on-the-job training of new or less experienced team members
What We re Looking For:
- Previous production or factory experience in a hands-on setting
- Willingness to learn a range of tasks across departments
- Good decision-making, time management, and communication skills
- Flexibility to work different shifts (days, lates, and occasional nights) on a set rotation
- Comfortable working 2 out of 3 Saturdays
- Forklift licence is desirable but not essential (training may be provided)
- Own transport required due to rural location
