iSQ Recruitment is working with a fast-paced food manufacturer near Bury St Edmunds to recruit a Packer with Counterbalance Forklift License. This role involves working within a small team, so strong communication skills, reliability, and a team-focused approach are key. This is a great opportunity for someone with production, manufacturing or warehouse experience who is looking for a secure, full time, and varied position. A valid counterbalance forklift license is essential for this role.
Please Note: This role does not offer visa sponsorship. Candidates must have full Right to Work in the UK. A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle is required due to the location.

Key Responsibilities:
- Packing flour into 16kg, 25kg and 1-tonne tote bags.
- Loading lorries using a counterbalance forklift.
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure product standards are met.
- Completing food safety checks and production paperwork.
- Performing magnet and metal detector checks.
- Conducting tool checks.
- Shrink wrapping finished products ready for dispatch.
- Supporting with general mill duties and cleaning during quieter periods.
Essential Criteria:
- Valid counterbalance forklift license.
- Full UK driving license & own transport.
- Good level of English (written and verbal).
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Comfortable working in a food manufacturing environment.
