In this hands-on role, you\’ll be responsible for assembling mechanical components, following detailed instructions and working closely with experienced team members. You\’ll use a variety of tools and equipment in a safety-conscious environment, contributing to high-quality, precision-built products. The Role: The main purpose of this role is to assemble mechanical/ electrical sub-systems and components, working as part of a close-knit team of technicians within the workshop. You\’ll follow detailed electronic build manuals created by the business to ensure all work meets the required specifications and standards. Maintaining a safe and organised working environment is essential, with strict adherence to Health & Safety procedures and the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
Key Responsibilities:
Operate tooling or other machines.
Highly motivated
Verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work well under pressure, as part of a team or on your own
Knowledge of a range of hand / power tools for example: drill press, bench and hand grinders digital measuring tools, torque wrench, tap and die\’s, punches, pipe benders
Ability to work to a high level of accuracy with good attention to detail.
Able to work with minimal supervision, but who obtains assistance when required.
Understanding of Health & Safety and PPE What We\’re Looking For:
Experience with mechanical builds and or maintenance on a variety of platforms from factory machinery, road vehicles & aircraft
Hold a valid UK drivers Licence
Physical fitness is required as the role involves lifting and manual handling and operation of power tools and equipment Why Join?
