Fire Alarm Engineer Salary: Circa £38,000 per annum Location: Essex Hours: Mon – Fri: 8:00am – 5:00pm (Standard 40 hours per week) Are you a Fire Alarm Engineer looking for a fresh challenge? We are looking for a skilled Fire Alarm Engineer to join our client’s growing division in Essex. The role involves installing, servicing, and carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) on a variety of fire alarm systems. This is a great opportunity to join a growing team that values good engineers and offers long term stability. Key Responsibilities Install, test, and commission a range of fire alarm systems to current standards. Carry out routine servicing, inspections, and PPMs across client sites. Diagnose and repair faults efficiently to ensure minimal downtime. Complete all necessary paperwork and certification accurately. Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships. Work to health & safety regulations and always company procedures. Requirements Ideally a minimum of 2 years\’ experience working as a Fire Alarm Engineer. Ideally qualified to Level 3 in Electrical or Fire Alarm Systems (not essential). Good knowledge of conventional and addressable fire alarm systems. Ability to work independently and manage your own workload. Full UK driving licence.
