Working Hours: Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16:30 + 1 in 2 Saturdays 05:00 - 13:00

ISQ Recruitment is working with a well-established commercial vehicle service organisation to recruit an experienced HGV Technician for their workshop in Erith. This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected fleet maintenance provider supporting large commercial vehicle fleets across the UK. This role focuses on maintaining and repairing heavy goods vehicles and trailers to the highest safety and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out major and minor repairs to HGVs, trailers and other commercial vehicles
  • Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance including inspections, oil changes and tyre work
  • Diagnose faults and work collaboratively with workshop teams to plan repairs
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs and inspections
  • Ensure the workshop environment is clean, organised and compliant with safety standards
  • Complete all relevant paperwork and documentation including warranty information

Candidate Requirements

  • Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (NVQ / City & Guilds / IMI)
  • Experience working on HGVs, commercial vehicles or trailers
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to identify worn or faulty components in line with DVSA standards
  • Full UK driving licence

Working Hours

  • Monday - Friday: 08:00 - 16:30
  • One in two Saturdays: 05:00 - 13:00
  • Overtime available and paid at enhanced rates
