Hours: 40 hours per week (alternating split shifts)

Salary: Up to £45,000 basic

OTE: £60,000+ per year (uncapped)

Bonus: Productivity bonus up to £6,000 per annum

Overtime: Paid at 1.5x (weekdays & weekends)

This opportunity is ideal for a skilled HGV professional who enjoys fault-finding, complex diagnostics, and working on leading heavy vehicle brands.

About the Role

  • Completing mechanical repairs and rectifying faults found during inspections
  • Carrying out routine servicing and maintenance to manufacturer standards
  • Supporting service productivity and efficient workshop flow
  • Participating in regular technical training to enhance your skill set
  • Working to manufacturer guidelines and delivering quality-focused results

Shift Pattern - Alternating Weeks

  • Week 1: Monday-Friday, 06:00-14:30 (30 min unpaid break)
  • Week 2: Monday-Friday, 14:00-22:30 (30 min unpaid break)

This alternating shift pattern includes shift payments for late shifts worked.

Requirements

  • Level 3 qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent) desirable
  • Flexible, organised, and able to work efficiently under pressure
  • Understanding of health & safety requirements in a commercial workshop
  • Diagnostic accreditation from any HGV manufacturer
  • LGV/HGV/PCV licence
  • Roadside assistance training
  • Bus/coach experience
