Overview

ISQ Recruitment is working with a well-established agricultural business to recruit an experienced Area Manager to oversee multiple poultry farms. This is a key role focused on maintaining high standards of bird welfare, performance and compliance, while ensuring all sites operate safely, efficiently and remain audit-ready at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of multiple poultry farms
  • Monitor bird performance, health and welfare standards
  • Ensure all sites meet Red Tractor and audit requirements
  • Oversee Health and Safety compliance, including regular audits
  • Identify issues and implement effective solutions
  • Support and communicate with farm teams across sites
  • Ensure strong biosecurity, maintenance and site standards
  • Manage contractors and visitors, ensuring safe working practices
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all documentation is up to date

Requirements

  • Experience within broiler, breeder, rearing or egg production
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Good understanding of Health and Safety in a farming environment
  • Confident communicator with the ability to lead and influence others
  • Ability to manage multiple sites and prioritise workload effectively
  • Full right to work in the UK - sponsorship is not available
