About The Role

ISQ Recruitment is hiring an Ad Hoc Warehouse Operative (Handballing) to join a small, hardworking team within a family‑run business. This hands‑on role is suited to someone reliable, physically fit, and comfortable with manual unloading. It is an ad‑hoc position with flexible shifts, ideal for someone looking for occasional work and happy to muck in as part of a close‑knit team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manually unload containers (handballing)
• Sort, stack, and palletise goods
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Requirements

• Previous warehouse or manual handling experience (preferred, but not essential)
• Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Flexible with working hours, including possible shifts or weekends

Desirable

• Previous experience in a warehouse or manual handling role
• Comfortable with heavy lifting and physical work
• Good attitude and willingness to get stuck in
• Punctual and dependable
• Able to work well with a small team and follow instructions
• Flexible with short‑notice or ad‑hoc shifts
