Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm (flexible start 7‑8am) with overtime and optional Saturday half days.

Key Responsibilities- Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs and trailers
- Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections in line with compliance standards
- Complete PMI inspections accurately and efficiently
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults across a mixed fleet
- Undertake basic electrical diagnostics and repairs (lighting, wiring, etc.)
- Maintain accurate service and inspection records
- Work proactively to reduce vehicle downtime and maximise availability
- Identify and report potential faults before failure
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations
- Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment
- Proven experience as an HGV Technician or Mechanic (or strong transferable mechanical background)
- Strong knowledge of HGV servicing, maintenance, and repairs
- Experience working on trailers and associated systems
- Ability to carry out MOT preparation and PMI inspections
- Basic electrical fault‑finding skills
- Experience with Volvo or DAF vehicles (desirable)
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence (HGV licence advantageous but not essential)
- Up to £60,000 annual salary (depending on experience)
