Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 – 16:30 (40 hours per week)

ISQ Recruitment is working on behalf of a specialist engineering manufacturer seeking an Stock Controller to join their team. This position plays an essential role in maintaining accurate inventory control and ensuring the smooth flow of materials and components within the company.

The role is well-suited to someone with experience in warehouse, stock control, or stores operations — particularly within a manufacturing or engineering environment. You\’ll be joining a growing, forward-thinking company where precision, organisation, and teamwork are key to success.

What You\’ll Be Doing

• Carry out regular stock counts and cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Support the receiving, labelling, and storage of incoming materials, ensuring all records are kept up to date.
• Investigate stock discrepancies and work with the Inventory Manager to resolve any issues.
• Update and maintain inventory management systems to record movements and adjustments.

What You\’ll Bring

• 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse, stores, or inventory role — ideally within a manufacturing setting.
• Competent in using inventory management software and Excel.
• Physically capable of handling and moving materials when required.
• Valid Driving Licence and Forklift Licence essential.
