About The Role

ISQ Recruitment is hiring on behalf of our client for a Production Planning Manager. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing material flow, inventory control, and production scheduling, ensuring smooth operations from receiving through to shipping.

You’ll be responsible for optimising workflows, implementing best practices, and leading a team to improve efficiency across planning, stores, and distribution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage production scheduling, inventory control, and material flow.
  • Standardise processes across Planning, Stores, Packing, and Shipping.
  • Lead and mentor a team of four direct reports.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
  • Ensure capacity planning and production scheduling meet operational targets.
  • Conduct problem-solving and root cause analysis to optimise performance.
  • Oversee health & safety compliance in production areas.

What We’re Looking For

Essential

  • Experience in Planning, Inventory Control, or Supply Chain operations.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in training and mentoring teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general ERP knowledge.
  • Analytical mindset with a structured approach to workflow management.
  • Ability to identify inefficiencies and drive process improvements.

Desirable

  • Experience with Lean principles and process improvement methodologies.
