We\\\’re working with a successful food manufacturer in Norfolk to recruit an New Product Development Specialist. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with hands-on food factory and NPD experience who wants to take ownership of projects from concept through to launch.

The Role

This position is focused on the delivery of new product development within a food manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for managing the full NPD process β€” from initial brief through to factory launch β€” ensuring that all technical, operational, and compliance requirements are met.

Your responsibilities

  • Managing projects end-to-end through a structured stage-gate process.
  • Developing timelines, costings, and project plans to keep projects on track.
  • Coordinating kitchen trials, factory trials, and full launches, gathering feedback and driving improvements.
  • Producing and managing all supporting documentation, including line forms, packaging sign-offs, and specifications.
  • Working with new raw materials and ensuring accuracy of technical data.
  • Supporting Technical during audits and HACCP processes.
