Our Client based in Leeds is currently seeking an IT Support Professional to join their growing team, offering critical 1st and 2nd line support across their operations. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the smooth functioning of IT systems that underpin their business.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support, responding to and resolving user queries efficiently.
- Administer and manage Microsoft 365, including user accounts, security settings, and system updates.
- Support and maintain SharePoint sites, including permissions and structure.
- Manage and configure Intune for device enrolment, policies, and compliance.
- Troubleshoot basic network and server issues, including connectivity and performance.
- Implement and follow ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management.
- Manage hardware and software setups, including laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
- Support the installation and maintenance of printers and other peripherals.
- Perform routine system backups and ensure data security protocols are followed.
- Document processes, resolutions, and common issues to improve knowledge sharing.
- Liaise with third-party providers for system maintenance or escalations.
- Provide training and support for end-users to ensure effective use of IT systems.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in 1st and 2nd line IT support roles.
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Microsoft 365 administration (including Teams, OneDrive, and Exchange).
- SharePoint management.
- Intune for device and application management.
- Basic networking and server administration.
- ITIL framework and best practices.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with cloud-based environments and virtualized systems.
- Familiarity with recruitment or service industry IT needs.
- Knowledge of endpoint security and antivirus management.
- Experience with CRM or applicant tracking systems (ATS).
