Head of Project DeliverySector: Engineering & Manufacturing
Location: Norfolk area – commutable from Norwich, Thetford, Bury St Edmunds, and surrounding areas
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive, DOE
Hours: Monday to Friday – Days
If you’re an established senior project professional with a background in engineering delivery, this role offers the opportunity to lead from the front – overseeing complex, customer-led projects from concept through to completion.
As Head of Project Delivery, you’ll take ownership of the end-to-end delivery process, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required specification. You’ll lead and develop a team of Project Managers, act as the senior point of contact for customers, and work closely with engineering, operations, and commercial teams to ensure delivery runs seamlessly.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading the delivery of multiple engineering projects from contract award through to completion
- Managing and developing a team of Project Managers, promoting best practice across delivery
- Acting as the senior contact for customers during all stages of project execution
- Supporting contract discussions and handling commercial or technical changes
- Collaborating with internal teams across engineering, operations, and finance
- Monitoring progress, risks, and costs to ensure targets are achieved
- Driving continuous improvement across processes, systems, and delivery standards
