Machine Technician

iSQ Recruitment is supporting a well-established and forward-thinking manufacturer specialising in high-quality plastic packaging solutions for multiple sectors. Operating from modern, purpose-built facilities, the company is known for its commitment to innovation, sustainability, and customer-focused design. They are now looking to add a Machine Technician to their team.

The successful candidate must have a full UK driving license, access to their own vehicle, and full Right to Work in the UK (sponsorship not provided).

Role Duties

  • Responsible for carrying out planned tool and colour changes efficiently to support production schedules.
  • Fault finding, making process adjustments, and ensuring optimal machine performance through continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all products meet quality standards, with prompt reporting of defects or machine issues.
  • Follow company procedures and adhere to ISO quality and health & safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work area and perform general production tasks to support overall efficiency.

Qualifications & Criteria

  • Background in engineering and/or solid mechanical background.
  • Adaptable to change & embraces challenges.
  • A strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive and professional attitude.
  • Takes pride in delivering high-quality work with strong attention to detail and consistency.
  • Shows initiative and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Full UK driving license and access to own vehicle required.
  • Full Right to Work in the UK.
