If you’re an experienced Buyer with a background in fast-paced procurement environments, this role offers the chance to take ownership of sourcing, negotiation and supplier management within a growing business.

You’ll play a key part in ensuring materials, components and services are sourced effectively, contracts are agreed to the right commercial standards, and supply chains remain reliable to support operational and project demands.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Sourcing new suppliers and managing quotations, bids and commercial negotiations
  • Reviewing and agreeing contract terms in line with procurement policies and business needs
  • Building and maintaining supplier relationships, ensuring quality, cost and delivery expectations are met
  • Working closely with internal teams to ensure materials and services support production schedules and project timelines
  • Raising purchase orders and maintaining accurate data across internal systems
  • Supporting reporting, stock control and audit requirements through accurate documentation
  • Ensuring procurement activity aligns with company processes and Health and Safety standards

What you’ll bring

  • Experience in procurement within engineering, manufacturing or a similar fast-moving environment
  • Strong commercial awareness and confident negotiation ability
  • Clear communication and a structured, detail-focused approach
  • Able to build supplier relationships and work well with internal stakeholders
  • Comfortable working independently and managing priorities effectively
  • Degree or NVQ Level 5 in business or technical discipline (beneficial)
  • CIPS qualification, or working towards (beneficial)
