Basic Salary: FTE: £23,619.35, Pro-rata: £14,171.61
Hours: 22.5 hours per week, 3 days a week (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday), 08:30 - 16:30
Contract: Term Time Only

Nestled in the beautiful Glengorse Estate in Battle, East Sussex, ISP School is dedicated to providing specialist education for 7-18 year-olds facing social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH), as well as communication and learning needs.

Your Role Responsibilities
- Champion the safeguarding and welfare of all children, staff, families, and visitors.
- Initiate and act on programs that enhance the quality of life and wellbeing for our school community.

Key Tasks and Activities
- Communicate effectively with school staff and professionals from ISP Centres and local authorities.
- Engage with parents and carers through phone, text, and email.
- Welcome visitors, maintenance personnel, and guests to the school.
- Manage school correspondence, emails, and phone calls.
- Organize and attend meetings, taking minutes as needed.
- Produce minutes for network meetings, staff briefings, and inclusion meetings.
- Assist the Head and School Administrator with budget management.
- Support the management of petty cash.
- Maintain school documents using BehaviourWatch.
- Contribute to the school mission by executing additional tasks as directed by the Head Teacher.

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills with a systematic approach to managing workloads.
- Excellent time management and planning abilities.
- Experience in developing systems and processes.
- Understanding of management information systems is a plus.
- Ability to work within budgets and monitor expenditures.
- Knowledge of relevant policies, codes of practice, and legislation.
- A knack for planning and developing effective systems.
- Ability to connect well with both children and adults.
- Team player who understands school roles and responsibilities.
