ALL.SPACE is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Business Development Manager – NATO Programs to lead growth within NATO and associated European defense organisations. This role will expand ALL.SPACE’s presence across NATO agencies by identifying and capturing business opportunities aligned with NATO’s evolving requirements in defense communications, interoperability, and mission resilience. The successful candidate will leverage their understanding of NATO procurement frameworks and established relationships across NCIA, NSPA, SHAPE, and ACT to position ALL.SPACE’s multi-orbit, intelligent SATCOM platform as a critical enabler for coalition operations, mobility, and secure global connectivity.
- Drive Business Growth and Revenue
- Achieve annual sales and growth targets for NATO accounts, focusing on strategic programs in defence communications and secure networking.
- Develop and execute comprehensive NATO account strategies aligned with ALL.SPACE’s international government growth objectives.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue NATO opportunities through proactive engagement, relationship development, and intelligence gathering.
- Drive the end-to-end capture process—from early opportunity shaping through contract award.
- Build and Manage Strategic Relationships
- Establish trusted relationships with NATO programme managers, acquisition officials and capability development leaders.
- Serve as the primary interface between ALL.SPACE and NATO stakeholders, articulating the company’s differentiated technology value proposition.
- Represent ALL.SPACE at NATO industry days, defence conferences, and partner briefings.
- Build alliances with European defence primes, system integrators, and local partners to strengthen market presence.
- Strategic Partnerships and Channel Development
- Identify and develop strategic partnerships with key European industry players, defence primes and regional distributors supporting NATO programs.
- Negotiate teaming agreements, cooperative frameworks, and joint pursuits to expand ALL.SPACE’s reach across NATO member nations.
- Manage partner relationships to ensure alignment with corporate strategy and performance objectives.
- Collaborate with partners to co-develop solutions and marketing initiatives that address NATO’s evolving operational requirements.
- Coordinate Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Innovation, Engineering, Product and Marketing to create customer-aligned solutions.
- Translate NATO requirements into actionable technical and business inputs for internal teams.
- Lead internal strategy reviews and capture planning sessions to align resources with priority opportunities.
- Navigate NATO Acquisition and Proposal Processes
- Shape and influence opportunities from early engagement through RFI, RFP, and final bid.
- Apply in-depth understanding of NATO procurement processes, contracting vehicles, and framework agreements.
- Contribute to proposal development, pricing strategies, and competitive positioning to maximize win probability.
- Provide Market Intelligence and Forecasting
- Track NATO defence policy developments, capability roadmaps, and budget allocations related to SATCOM, ISR, and digital transformation.
- Maintain accurate pipeline data, forecasts, and competitive analyses in CRM systems.
- Deliver timely and insightful updates to leadership on account health, risks, and emerging opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience in defence, aerospace, or satellite communications business development. (In lieu of degree, a minimum of 13 years of directly related experience will be considered.)
- Proven success in selling or managing business development within NATO, European defence institutions, or multinational defence environments.
- Deep understanding of SATCOM, multi-orbit communications, and tactical networking technologies.
- Strong knowledge of NATO structures, capability development processes, and acquisition frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience in partnership and channel management within the defence or government markets.
- Eligibility for NATO Secret or national security clearance.
Preferred Additional Skills
- Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent).
- Prior experience working directly with NATO agencies (NCIA, NSPA, SHAPE, ACT).
- Established network of NATO and European defence industry contacts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Experience in a high-growth, technology-driven company environment.
- Willingness to travel across Europe.
