Part Time Testing Proctor/Office Assistant

Position Summary: The Testing Proctor/Office Assistant will administer and proctor tests and perform office-related duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer and proctor tests as scheduled by the testing coordinator.
  • Conduct testing sessions in accordance with established procedures for the test being administered.
  • Verify the identity and eligibility of each tester.
  • Maintain seating charts, testing irregularity reports, and other documentation as required.
  • Maintain the security of all testing materials.
  • Inventory and place into secure storage all secure testing materials before and after each test administration.
  • Conduct testing sessions in accordance with test manufacturer policies and procedures.
  • Assist with answering phone calls, responding to email inquiries, and assisting current and prospective students with enrollment, campus resources, and support services.
  • Assist with test proctoring for the local prison system as needed.
  • Work evening hours as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Complete all tasks/projects with accuracy and keen attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact clearly and professionally.
  • Ability to establish, cultivate, and maintain positive, professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community.
  • Ability to anticipate needs, plan, organize, execute, and function effectively under the time constraints of rapidly changing priorities.
  • Ability to work without close supervision through self-motivation, using sound professional judgment.
  • Carry out standards of service excellence and professionalism when handling educational records and confidential or sensitive information (FERPA).
