Exemptions
Our graduate programme is a wonderful opportunity to learn and develop your accounting skills through a combination of on-the-job practical experience and training whilst studying towards a professional qualification. We have a clear progression route from graduate through to CFO in the form of our Career Development Plan under which we encourage and support all graduates on the programme to take control of their careers.
Experience has shown us a key component in the success of graduates as they develop into senior finance leaders is a solid foundation of knowledge in the fundamentals of accounting and finance. Without that foundation the ability to identify and solve complex financial problems becomes a challenge and often an obstacle to development. As a result, we have refined our exemptions policy in order to maximise the chances for all graduates to reach their full potential in their career with us.
For CIMA we will accept exemptions from the Certificate level (BA1-4). We firmly believe that the benefit to graduates of studying each of the subsequent levels, alongside the practical work experience gained, will produce the firmest of foundations to build a successful career in accounting and finance. #J-18808-Ljbffr
