We are seeking a skilled and motivated Immigration Solicitor to join our growing Immigration team. The successful candidate will provide high‑quality legal advice and representation across a broad range of UK immigration matters, ensuring exceptional service to both private and corporate clients. This role requires strong technical knowledge of UK immigration law, excellent client‑handling skills, and the ability to manage a varied caseload independently.

Overview: You will manage a busy private immigration caseload, handling complex applications and appeals across a wide range of private and business immigration matters. The role requires a confident practitioner who can work independently while delivering high standards of client care.

Key Tasks:

  • Manage a full private immigration caseload from instruction to conclusion.
  • Advise clients on the full spectrum of UK immigration law, including:
  • Skilled Worker and other work-based visas
  • Sponsor Licence applications
  • Family and private life applications from within the UK and out of country
  • EU Settlement Scheme matters
  • Student and visitor routes
  • British citizenship and naturalisation
  • Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR)
  • Human rights and asylum claims (private)
  • Prepare and submit visa applications, appeals, administrative reviews, and supporting documentation.
  • Conduct client consultations, assess eligibility, and provide clear, practical legal advice.
  • Handle complex immigration applications, including nationality and business immigration matters.
  • Prepare and conduct immigration appeals.
  • Draft detailed representations, witness statements and legal submissions.
  • Advise clients on immigration options, risks and outcomes.
  • Liaise with courts, tribunals, Home Office and counsel as required.
  • Maintain accurate file management and ensure regulatory compliance in line with SRA Standards and Regulations.
  • Requirements of the Immigration Solicitor:

    • Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or experienced Immigration Caseworker.
    • Immigration & Asylum Accreditation (would be a benefit but not essential).
    • Strong experience handling complex private immigration cases.
    • Appeals experience essential.
    • Excellent drafting, advocacy and client care skills.
    • Ability to manage caseload independently in a fast-paced environment.

    Skills & Experience Required:

    • Qualified Solicitor of England & Wales (or equivalent with right to practise).
    • Minimum 1–3 years PQE in immigration law (other levels may also be considered).
    • Strong knowledge of the UK Immigration Rules and relevant legislation.
    • Experience handling both private client and corporate immigration matters.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong advocacy, drafting, and analytical skills.
    • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
    • A client-focused, detail‑oriented, and proactive approach.
