We are currently recruiting for a Post Completion Assistant to join our busy Leeds city centre office on a full‑time basis. The role will provide support to our residential and new build property departments and includes handling Post Completion matters within the team through a wide variety of tasks such as submission payments, registering new build properties and land registry requisitions. You will be expected to hit the ground running and will require minimal supervision from colleagues. The successful applicant will be a quick and accurate worker, able to follow instructions carefully while handling a high volume of work. They will be a team player with a flexible, can‑do attitude.
Key Tasks
- Dealing with matters at all stages from completion to archiving.
- Preparing and lodging AP1, FR1, TR1 and other applications at HM Land Registry within the priority period.
- Dealing with any requisitions prior to HMLR’s deadline.
- Ensuring the charge and any associated transaction is correctly registered.
- Ensuring each matter file has a zero balance with all client and office monies accounted for.
- Sending completed registrations and other documents to the client and/or lender as appropriate.
- Advising the appropriate manager if there are any cases with a risk of a complaint, removal from a lender panel or negligence claim.
- Updating the Case Management system in accordance with team procedures as the matter progresses.
- Dealing with telephone enquiries where possible or taking messages for colleagues.
Experience – Essential
- +12 months experience in a similar fast‑paced role.
