Ison Harrison Solicitors, the Yorkshire Law Firm, employs 450+ people across 25 offices. Employee-ownership also means that profit share payments are distributed, tax-free, to employees with 12+ months’ service at the end of our financial year.
We are currently recruiting for a Family Solicitor to join our family law teams in Crossgates & Chapel Allerton. The role will involve developing and managing a caseload of privately funded matters including:
- Divorce and financial remedy work
- Separation
- Nuptial agreements
- Children arrangements
- Domestic violence cases
Responsibilities include representing clients at Court including advocacy as appropriate. Candidates should have the ability to deal with technical details and express solutions to complex legal problems in a concise and client-friendly way. Good spoken and written communication skills are essential to deal with clients and other parties face to face, by telephone, and in producing legal documents.
Additionally, candidates must be able to organise and prioritise work, under supervision, to meet clients’ expectations and matter deadlines. A flexible and ‘can do’ attitude is required.
Full-time or Part-time, permanent.
