Overview

We are currently recruiting for an Employment Solicitor (Associate) to be based at our Duke House office in Leeds city centre.

This is a hybrid role working two/three days from the office and two/three days from home, following completion of the successful candidate’s probationary period.

The role will mainly involve managing executive exits, litigation (mainly claimant) and assisting our Company and Commercial team, under the supervision of a Partner.

  • Ability to present and argue a case orally and in writing.
  • Good and clear communication to deal with clients and other parties face to face.

  • Accurate communication to produce clear and accurate letters and legal documents.
  • Ability to learn quickly.
  • Ability to organise and prioritise work, under supervision, to meet clients’ expectations and matter deadlines.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • A flexible, pro‑active and ‘can do’ attitude.

Experience

As a guide, this role may be most interested to someone with around 5 years PQE or relevant experience.
