SoftStone, Inc. is seeking an AI Solution Architect to join our team.
This role offers opportunities for external visibility and authorship for candidates who are interested:
- Contribute to iSoftStone's external point of view on AI, agentic systems, and Frontier Firm operating models.
- Author or co-author technical guidance, reference architectures, patterns, and case studies across blogs, presentations, and internal or external artifacts.
- Support Microsoft-aligned initiatives, including workshops, customer sessions, and select speaking engagements.
- Share practical insights from real delivery—what works, what doesn’t, and why—to help shape scalable, repeatable best practices.
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of experience in solution or platform architecture with deep, hands-on engineering expertise.
- Proven experience building agentic AI solutions using Azure AI Foundry, including orchestration, model integration, and production-grade deployment.
- Demonstrated track record architecting and delivering production AI solutions for enterprise clients, from design through implementation and scale.
- Deep expertise across the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, including identity, security, governance, and core enterprise platform services.
- Strong experience designing, building, and deploying generative AI systems and agent-based architectures in real-world production environments.
- Proficiency in one or more of the following languages: Python, C#, or TypeScript.
- Comfortable operating across strategy and execution—able to whiteboard architectures, translate requirements into designs, and build working solutions.
- Passion for enabling teams, raising engineering standards, and creating scalable, repeatable AI platforms and patterns.
- Clear and confident communicator, capable of engaging both technical teams and senior client and executive stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
- Microsoft certifications such as Azure AI Engineer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
- Experience working in regulated or large-scale enterprise environments.
- Background in building internal platforms, accelerators, or shared delivery practices.
- Interest in publishing, presenting, mentoring, or contributing to community and internal knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Engagement Details
- Engagement Type: Contract-to-Perm
- Hours: Part-time or Full-time
- Pay Range (Contract): $100 - $125/hour (commensurate with experience)
- Location: Remote (US or Europe based; strong US time-zone overlap preferred)
- 1099/Contractors: No benefits
