Key Responsibilities
- Assisting solicitors with a broad range of private client matters, including wills, probate, estate administration, trusts, and inheritance tax planning.
- Supporting Court of Protection solicitors on deputyship applications, statutory wills, gifting applications, and ongoing deputyship administration.
- Drafting legal documents, including wills, lasting powers of attorney, trust deeds, Court of Protection applications, and supporting documentation.
- Preparing legal research, case summaries, and correspondence.
- Liaising with clients, family members, deputies, financial advisers, medical professionals, and external organisations to progress matters efficiently.
- Assisting with estate and deputyship account management, inheritance tax calculations, and financial reporting where required.
- Managing client files, compliance checks, document preparation, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth case progression.
- Supporting the team with business development initiatives and maintaining excellent client relationships.
