A highly regarded and established Central London law firm is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor to join its successful and growing Property team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a solicitor who is looking for autonomy, excellent earning potential and genuine long-term progression, with the opportunity to work towards a Head of Department or Partnership position for the right individual.

The Role

You will take full responsibility for your own caseload, managing residential conveyancing files from initial instruction through to completion.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing your own portfolio of residential conveyancing files




• Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases




• Managing transactions from instruction through to exchange and completion




• Reviewing contracts, titles and property documentation




• Raising and responding to legal enquiries




• Conducting and reviewing property searches




• Providing clear and commercially focused advice to clients




• Liaising with estate agents, lenders, brokers and other solicitors




• Managing exchange and completion




• Dealing with post-completion matters




• Maintaining excellent client relationships




• Ensuring files are progressed efficiently and in accordance with regulatory requirements




• Contributing to the continued growth and success of the Property department

About You

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Conveyancing Solicitor with strong experience managing their own caseload.

You will ideally have:

• Proven experience managing your own residential conveyancing files




• Strong technical knowledge of freehold and leasehold transactions




• Excellent client-care and communication skills




• Strong organisational and time-management abilities




• The confidence to work independently and take ownership of matters




• A commercial and proactive approach




• An interest in developing your role beyond pure fee earning




• Leadership potential and the ambition to progress into a senior management position
