Job Summary: The Senior Coordinator – HSEQ RAVS works on the HSE RAVS team to facilitate desktop audits of health and safety programs, coordinate process improvement initiatives, provide safety related technical support to clients, and participate in various research activities. The role requires in-depth knowledge of HSEQ-related legislation, and the individual must be self-motivated, and willing to assist with all of the day-to-day demands inherent to a rapidly growing organization.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Research, develop, and enhance health and safety review protocols as necessitated by legislated requirements
- Assist and support ISNetworld contractor/supplier clients; meet clients at their locations
- Perform desktop audits of health and safety programs; verify statistical information
- Coordinate various review protocol development and implementation initiatives
- Proactively analyze processes and bring forth ideas for continuous improvement
- Support and participate in the organization’s Continual Improvement Program to conform to ISO 9001 requirements by complying with the Quality Policy and procedures and meeting QMS objectives
- Research and develop various resources and reference documents for clients
- 20-30% travel for meetings with customers
Education and Training
- University degree in occupational health and safety or related field from an accredited university and/or equivalent safety degree
- 1 – 3 years HSE experience
Knowledge and Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet Explorer
- Demonstrated personal initiative, ability to work with minimal supervision
- Desire to assume increasing levels of leadership responsibility
- Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
