About the Role
We’re looking for a driven, ambitious Senior Business Development Manager to accelerate our growth across EMEA and AMER. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, mission-driven company that’s transforming how organisations achieve information security and compliance.
You’ll own the full sales cycle — from generating pipeline and driving opportunities, to nurturing relationships and closing deals. Using your commercial insight and consultative approach, you’ll help organisations discover how our platform can simplify their security, build trust, and power their growth.
What You’ll Be Doing
· Drive growth across EMEA and AMER by developing and executing strategic sales campaigns that generate and convert high-quality new business opportunities — across both inbound and outbound channels.
· Own your pipeline — from initial outreach and inbound lead engagement to qualification, solution design, and closing — ensuring a consistent flow of opportunities and sustainable revenue growth.
· Lead engaging discovery calls and product demos, delivering solutions that address customer pain points and business goals.
· Collaborate closely with marketing and product teams to refine go-to-market strategies, improve conversion rates, and deliver a seamless customer experience.
· Position IO as a trusted partner by understanding each customer’s challenges and clearly articulating the value and impact of our platform.
· Manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, maintaining momentum through strong communication, insight, and relationship management.
· Keep things on track with accurate CRM updates, reliable forecasting, and clear reporting to the Global Head of Sales.
· Champion the IO brand, building meaningful connections and expanding our presence across key markets.
What You’ll Bring
· Proven experience in a similar SaaS sales role, with a focus on outbound lead generation — prospecting and building high-value pipelines from the ground up.
· Confident communication skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and build trust with senior decision-makers.
· A proactive, self-starting attitude — you take ownership, stay organised, and deliver results.
· Comfort with CRM tools like HubSpot, Salesforce (or similar) to manage leads, track progress, and forecast accurately.
· Bonus points for experience in information security, compliance, or ISO standards — or for fluency in an additional language (especially German).
