ISMIRA AGENCY is actively recruiting for the position of WAITER/ESS onboard OCEANIA and REGENT Cruises. The Waiter/Waitress provides and maintains the service standards using friendly, courteous, and professional service in any assigned venue.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide personalized service according to the restaurant destination (themes), portraying at all times the attitude, body language and verbal etiquette in relation to the destination.
  • Use every opportunity to connect with the guest in order to create and enhance the guest experience as per the destination.
  • Provide personalized service, using guest names.
  • Maintain clean and orderly tables.
  • Set up, organize and clean assigned station according to PH standards.
  • Prepare mise-en-place to ensure that assigned station is ready when guests arrive.
  • Greet guests at table as they arrive, pulling out the chair for ladies. Offer the menu. Provide guests with personal self-introduction.
  • Possess full knowledge of the menu, and provide menu explanation and recommendations (Daily Special).
  • Possess full knowledge of service procedures and standards.
  • Assist the head waiter in all aspects of the service as well as taking dessert orders whenever possible and assisting with large tables.
  • Possess knowledge of beverages, wines, spirits.
  • Take all hot beverage orders.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Advanced level of English
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in high-level restaurant or 4-5* hotels/resorts
  • Excellent knowledge of international cuisine.
  • Ability to deal with guests from different nationalities.
  • Minimum age is 21 years old.
  • No visible tattoo.
