The Opportunity
As a Sponsorship Sales Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving the commercial success of our international cybersecurity events. This is a highâimpact, consultative sales role ideal for a motivated individual contributor eager to fastâtrack their career in a highâgrowth, entrepreneurial environment. You will be working directly with senior marketing and sales executives at leading cybersecurity firms to deliver custom event sponsorships and marketing solutions.
What Youâll Be Doing
- Identifying, engaging, and closing sponsorship deals with cybersecurity solution providers for ISMG & QG Media's global summit and conference portfolio.
- Owning the entire sales processâfrom prospecting and outreach to proposal development, negotiation, and close.
- Understanding clients' marketing and demand generation goals to craft valueâdriven sponsorship packages (includes digital marketing, webinars, and private dinners).
- Using a combination of LinkedIn, cold calls, email outreach, and market research to source and qualify new leads.
- Maintaining detailed sales pipeline activity, weekly forecasts, and quarterly sales reports.
- Establishing and nurturing executiveâlevel relationships with CMOs, VPs of Marketing, Sales, and Demand Generation.
What You Bring to the Table
- 2â5 years of B2B sales experience in a quotaâcarrying role, ideally within cybersecurity or technology events industry.
- Proven success in new business development, with experience navigating seniorâlevel decisionâmakers.
- Skilled in consultative selling, objection handling, and pipeline management.
- Strong communication skills and a driven, proactive mindset.
