The Opportunity

We are seeking a Conference Producer to shape the success of our global cybersecurity and technology summits. In this role, you will research emerging trends, design world-class agendas, recruit high-profile speakers, and bring together thought leaders from around the globe. This position is ideal for a strategic thinker with a strong interest in global business affairs and the cybersecurity/technology sectors. You will play a key role in driving the content and impact of our events while building expertise in market research, content development, project management, and stakeholder engagement. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and excel at cultivating value-driven relationships, this role offers a unique platform to make a meaningful impact in the B2B events industry.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Research industry trends, define target audiences, and identify the insights they need to design agendas that deliver actionable insights.
  • Build and manage Steering Committees of senior industry professionals.
  • Create compelling promotional copy and conference programs tailored to C-level executives.
  • Partner with marketing to ensure web, email, and social content drives audience engagement.
  • Speaker Acquisition & Engagement: Identify and recruit high-level industry thought leaders to speak at events. Use LinkedIn, email, and phone outreach (including cold calling) to engage speaker prospects and build strong industry partnerships. Send timely communications, reminders, and prep materials to ensure a seamless speaker experience.
  • Event Execution & Delivery: Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and operations to ensure flawless event delivery. Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring events are on time, on brand, and on budget. Oversee onsite event logistics, including speaker management and delegate engagement. Represent ISMG at events by introducing conferences, supporting speakers, and strengthening partner relationships.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Previous experience in conference production, events, research, or related fields is preferred but not required—we provide extensive training and support for motivated individuals eager to learn.
  • Strong research and writing skills with a passion for current affairs and emerging trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—comfortable speaking to executives.
  • Confidence in outreach (email, LinkedIn, cold calling) and professional networking.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to balance independent work (research, content writing) with collaborative project teamwork.
  • Fast-learning ability with adaptability across different topics and industries.
  • A proactive, self-starting attitude with a hunger to learn.
