Health Care Assistant (Nights). Oak Springs Care Home

  • Hourly rate:Β£12.76per hour
  • Contracted hours:33 hours (3 shifts) per week or 44 hours (4 shifts per week) available

Join our dedicated team and make a real difference to the lives of our residents throughout the night.

We're looking for caring, compassionate individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care. You'll work across our specialist care units: General Residential Unit, Early Onset EMI Unit - supporting residents in the early stages of their dementia journey or Advanced EMI Unit - supporting residents in the later stages of their dementia journey.

What You'll Do

  • Support residents with personal care, mobility and daily living needs.
  • Complete night checks and help ensure residents remain safe and comfortable throughout the night.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support.
  • Monitor residents' wellbeing and report any concerns.
  • Maintain accurate care records and handovers.
  • Work closely with colleagues to deliver outstanding care.
  • Subject to the needs of the business, you may be required to support other units within the home.

About You

  • Previous care experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Compassionate, reliable and committed to delivering excellent care.
  • A strong team player with a positive attitude.
  • A natural night owl who thrives in a night-working environment and can remain alert and responsive throughout the night.
  • Flexible and able to adapt to different care environments.
  • Keen to learn, develop and build a rewarding career in care.
