Autism Pathways is a specialist provider of high-quality accommodation and support for adults with autism and complex needs. We are proud to be launching a brand-new, purpose-built residential service in Hawarden. The Role:

As aSenior Support Worker, you’ll take a lead role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care and support during daytime hours. You’ll support individuals to live with greater independence and dignity, while guiding and mentoring your team to ensure consistent, compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the day team in delivering tailored care and support
  • Promote independence and choice through meaningful activities and routines
  • Build strong relationships with individuals, families, and professionals
  • Support with personal care, emotional wellbeing, and daily living skills
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to care planning
  • Ensure the environment remains safe, clean, and welcoming
  • Uphold Autism Pathways’ values and promote a person-centred approach

What We’re Looking For

  • Experienced and confident in supporting individuals with autism and complex needs
  • Leadership skills – able to guide and support a team effectively
  • Empathetic and proactive – passionate about making a difference
  • Reliable and resilient – able to manage behaviours and respond to challenges
  • Organised and detail-oriented – with strong observation and reporting skills
  • Flexible – willing to work a variety of shifts including weekends
  • Committed to development – open to training and progression opportunities

Experience in autism, learning disabilities, or complex behavioural needs is essential. A Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards it).
