Senior Health Care Assistant (Nights). Burscough Manor Care Home
- Rate of pay: £15.03 per hour
- Contracted hours:33 (3 shifts) per week
- Shift Times:Nights: 8pm-8am
Join our dedicated team at Burscough Manor Care Home and play a key role in delivering outstanding care and support to our residents throughout the night.
We're looking for an experienced and compassionate Senior Health Care Assistant who can lead by example, support colleagues, and help ensure residents remain safe, comfortable and well cared for overnight.
What You'll Do
- Lead and support the night care team during your shift.
- Deliver personal care and support with daily living activities.
- Administer medication safely and accurately.
- Complete night checks and respond to residents' needs.
- Monitor residents' wellbeing and escalate concerns where required.
- Maintain accurate care records and handovers.
- Promote dignity, independence and choice in everything you do.
About You
- Previous experience in a Senior Care Assistant or Care Assistant role.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care, or willingness to work towards it.
- Confident leading shifts and supporting colleagues.
- Compassionate, reliable and organised.
- Strong communication and record-keeping skills.
- A natural night owl who thrives in a night-working environment and can remain alert and responsive throughout the night.
