We are looking for passionate, enthusiastic Bar staff to join our Bar Team at Orleans Bar. We are looking for bartenders who can work in a fast‑pacing bar who can deliver a wide range of alcoholic and non‑alcoholic drinks in a high‑volume environment. You will need to be knowledgeable about drinks and be confident in providing guests with the correct drink choice. The role will give you the opportunity to learn and develop amongst our friendly and hardworking bar staff. Our position is for mainly weekends (night) and possibly weekdays (evening – night) on a flexible rota.
Duties
- To carry out bar duties
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standard
- To carry out daily opening and closing of bar
- To perform bar and cash handling duties with efficiency and accuracy
- To adhere to all Orleans guidelines and venue rules
- To complete all relevant tasks accurately
- To communicate with management any issues, abnormalities, discrepancies etc…
- Ensuring you sign in and out on till system
Previous experience is desirable but not essential as training will be given if you have the passion and enthusiasm for working in the bars. Enthusiasm is essential – be passionate about what you do. Competent use of written and spoken English, and numeracy skills. Must be flexible with schedule, able to work different shifts including weekends. Must wear uniform provided. Must be punctual. You will be well‑presented, articulate and organised and have a friendly personality. Possess strong customer service skills and thrive in providing great hospitality. You have a natural can‑do attitude and a proactive, forward‑thinking approach. You are hard‑working, punctual and reliable.
