The post holder will be responsible for a wide range of duties connected with the upkeep of the school site, supporting the daily operational needs of the school, to ensure it is a safe place for all members of our school community. We seek someone with experience of managing a school, or similar premises, with previous health and safety and building services (such as electrical, plumbing, carpentry) knowledge and experience. The post holder will also be responsible for the day-to-day caretaking duties of the school. You will have strong organisational and IT skills and excellent communication skills. You will need the ability to work independently and take initiative, as well as collaborate effectively within a team. We welcome applications from applicants who do not have experience in all areas of the job description as training will be offered to the successful candidate. The role is a full-time, all year-round position, working 40 hours per week from 7am to 4pm. The salary offered will be in the region of £30-£35k, dependent on experience.
