Responsibilities vary by position:
- Installation of shrubs/trees/sod/topsoil/mulch
- Grading, carrying and installing natural and interlocking stone
- Builds and/or takes apart bracing, barricades, forms, scaffolding, and temporary structures
- Assist with site prep for various types of pours including but not limited to sidewalks, curbs, stairs, walkways, loading docks, accessibility ramps, patios and driveways
- Performs duties of cutting and placing reinforcing wire mesh, preparing appropriate sand and cement mixtures and placing, pouring and rough levelling of concrete
- Smooth and finish concrete by floating, troweling, edging and brushing in accordance with specifications
Requirements:
- 3 years landscape construction experience
- Heavy lifting, ability to lift 50 lbs
- Able to work in outdoor environment, in varying temperatures
- Must be familiar with tools for the trade
- Able to take direction and follow instructions
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Hard working and a dedicated team player
- Strong work ethic – reliable and punctual
