Islington Motor Group are looking to recruit an experienced Sales Executive to join our busy and successful team, selling new and used vehicles along with associated products from our dealerships in either Trowbridge or Bath. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who is well-presented, target-driven, and outgoing, with a genuine passion for delivering the highest levels of customer service. A proven track record in vehicle sales or finance sales is essential.

In this role, you will be responsible for guiding customers through the full buying journey for both new and used vehicles. This will include qualifying customer needs, arranging finance solutions, and negotiating deals. You will need to be confident, personable, and comfortable working with a wide range of customers, while maintaining accuracy with documentation and processes. You should be a strong team player with the ability to work on your own initiative when required and be willing to undertake ongoing training (both in-person and virtual) to support your development and meet operational standards.

The role involves a reasonable level of administration, so strong organisational skills and effective time management are essential. This is a demanding but highly rewarding career opportunity.

  • Basic salary of £22,000 per annum
  • Commission structure with a realistic OTE of £40,000–£45,000
  • Company car (including fully comprehensive insurance)
  • Company pension scheme
  • Ongoing training and development

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday 09:00am – 18:00pm (set day off each week)
  • Saturdays 09:00 – 17:00 (one Saturday off per month – Trowbridge only)
  • Alternate Sundays & Bank Holidays 10:00am – 16:00pm (Trowbridge only)

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence (minor points considered)
  • Previous experience in vehicle or finance sales
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Professional, positive, and customer-focused approach
