Overview Neighbourhood Patrol Out of Hours OfficerThe Civil Protection Division was created to respond to events that take place across the borough, with a focus on response and safety, delivered by front line services. We are looking for enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals for the role of Neighbourhood Patrol Out of Hours Officer within the Neighbourhood Patrol Team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team, and to be actively involved in helping to create a high performing service that responds, investigates and helps to resolve antisocial behaviour, environmental waste and statutory nuisance (including noise) complaints. The role will involve engaging, educating and enforcing where necessary in relation to these types of issues, using a range of powers, so experience in this area is necessary. The work will predominantly involve being out and about around the borough, patrolling areas where there are known issues. There will also be occasions when office-based work will need to be undertaken such as utilising information technology systems to record information and writing statements for legal proceedings.
