About The Role
Focused on being part of a team. We are seeking an experienced vehicle technician and MOT tester to join a busy and dynamic workshop as part of our late shift. The role will be required to:
- Inspect, service, maintain, prepare for test, MOT, fault diagnosis and repair of all Council and other light vehicle and plant assets.
- Work on a varied fleet in accordance with DVSAs Public Service Vehicle Inspection Manual, MOT Inspection Manual for class 3, 4, 5 and 7 vehicles, DVSA Guide to Maintaining Roadworthiness, Manufacturer and Council maintenance requirements.
- Minor repairs to heavy vehicles within technicians capability as instructed by Workshop Manager.
The successful candidate will join a busy workshop as part of the late shift, working on a varied fleet of front line vehicles essential for the delivery of council services.
