What You’ll Be Doing

As an Employment Specialist you’ll guide residents through their journey, helping them understand their strengths, overcome barriers, and develop the skills they need to progress. Whether you’re meeting people in community spaces, preparing them for interviews, connecting with employers, or supporting them once they’re in work, you’ll be a consistent source of encouragement and practical help.

About the Team

You will be part of Islington Council’s Employment Services within the Targeted Employment Service, working alongside a supportive and committed team focused on reducing inequality and supporting residents to secure high‑quality, sustainable employment.
