About The Role

Focused on changing the future. We’re looking for a motivated, proactive Education, Employment and Training Adviser to work alongside young people aged 18–25, supporting them to identify their goals, overcome challenges and take confident steps towards their future. Role

In this role, supporting the delivery of the Full Potential youth trailblazer programme, you’ll work directly with young people, many of whom face complex barriers, including care leavers, young people with experience of the youth justice system, and SEND/SEMH, to help them progress into education, training or employment. Using a personalised, strengths‑based approach you will:

  • Manage a caseload of young people, providing tailored careers guidance, coaching and mentoring
  • Carry out holistic assessments to understand aspirations, needs and barriers
  • Develop and review action plans that support progression and build confidence
  • Support young people with employability skills including CVs, applications, job search and interview preparation
  • Work in community and outreach settings, meeting young people where they are
  • Build links with employers, training providers and specialist services to create opportunities
  • Accurately record progress and outcomes, contributing to programme delivery, service learning and improvements

Requirements

  • Experience of supporting vulnerable young people aged 18–25 into education, employment or training outcomes
  • Background in careers advice, job coaching or mentoring
  • Strong knowledge of education, employment and training pathways, including apprenticeships
  • Ability to motivate and engage young people using a strengths‑based, empathetic approach
  • Strong communication skills, professionalism and a clear commitment to transforming lives.
