An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Service Delivery Team within Estate Services as a Central Stores Manager. We are seeking a motivated, highly organised and ambitious individual with great attention to detail. This role will require individuals to be able to work independently and as part of a wider team.

This role is responsible for overseeing the management and processes of materials and equipment required by our caretaking teams, ensuring they are issued with the equipment and materials requested as well as managing budgets in relation to stock.

Key responsibilities include:

  • To be part of a team responsible for ensuring that materials and equipment are stocked, readily available, operational and 'fit for purpose' in order to allow the department to efficiently fulfil caretaking and estate services tasks.
  • You will be involved in stock level management, receipt of goods, order placement and equipment management within the stores.
  • You will manage relationships with suppliers and be able to present information and issue materials and equipment to large groups of dispersed staff.
  • You must ensure compliance with COSHH and all other relevant health and safety regulations.
  • You will deputise for and assist the Service Delivery Manager as required.
